Efa Lopez ft Mike(wot about us) by BiggyBeatz

I thought this was pro from start to finish; it had it all going on! The Islands, Latin, Hood andexcellent vocal performances. Great mix, too. Probably the best thing I've heard here this could be a hit as we speak. i wouldn't be surprised.

Thanks! Yep, I agree. Musically it isn't very complicated, it's the arrangement that changes quite a bit

I thought this was really solid and mixed really well. Musically, I didn't think it broke much new sonic ground, but it worked. nice job.

Mixtape King by HollyWood Cold Music

Que lastima, no hablar Espanol my bueno. I thought you had a lot of power, a lot of roll. You could have stuck the rhythm a little better at times, but it was strong over all. solid.

Outside of Time by Dazeofgrace

Wow...
You have a very nice voice; goodpitch and easy to listen to. The song was nice good lyrics but a little droning. Your lead guitar, though well-played stepped on the vocal lines a bit, you might try to seat your voice a bit more in the mix. But, seriously, one of the stronger efforts I've heard here by far. Congrats, you've got talent, girl:)

Lamb of God by r_silke

I thought the accompaniment was decent, if not generic and some good lyrics in the verseses. I tought the "Lamb of God" was over used throught.

Performance wise, It was hard to understand the lyrics at times, the melodic line was out of tempo at tmes and the singer had serious pitch issues throughout. I know that even people who can't sing love to sing and everybody sings in church. But singing is like a boat; it floats or it don't. I felt the soulful emotion here, but it was too out of tune to really enjoy.

Thanks again for your feedback. I'm not really sure how to classify my songs. I just write what's in my heart, and I'm sure my lack of musical training shows. If I were to ever actually market them (that's areally big if!) I think it would be toward live theatre, maybe a musical. Of course then they would be performed by an orchestra either with or without lyrics, but if with lyrics, it would be a professional singer, I hope:-) I play a Casio keyboard.

King of My Mountain by chicky54

You can hear the classical and Church influences in this song. A unique song, to be sure. Performance wise, the voice dirfted in pitch a lot, but the piano...harpsichord? was very solid. Your style is unique.

Thanks for your thoughtful feedback, tonulak! I was beginning to think that my melodies might sound similar. Yes - I do the singing and keyboard...I make a lot of mistakes so it might be frustrating to a "real" singer to have to keep starting over. What do you think?

You Won't See Him Grieve by chicky54

I think you are a good lyricist, but the melodic choices you are making are sounding repetitiv. You can try altering tempo in the chorus, writing a bridge section to break things up, or even change ke up, every verse to add some drama. Are you playing and singing simultaneously? You might consider dividing the labor, playing for another singer to show off the song a bit better. An interesting effort.e

Thanks for your feedback! Any ideas on how to find a singer who doesn't mind singing the same piece up to thirty times without being paid? That's how long it takes me sometimes to get a decent recording.

I'll Be There by chicky54

Again, your strength is lyric writing. I think your efforts would be better served here if you could find a passable singer to accompany. I'd have also slowed this down a bit, as it would give you more time to deliver your lyric. It seems your songs are in a consistent march tempo, and some of the lyric and melody is lost. Keep working and refining and you'll come up with some good stuff.

you see i'm dealing with people that know what they are doing. i don't. just shared two songs that i know the Holy Spirit gave me on two nights 25 yrs apart when i needed it most. i'm a photographer, but wanted to share the story. i appreciate music artists though, as my son in law is blessed with this gift. thanks for your thoughts! I am not offended in the least.

Yesterday, Today, & Forever! by 4 I AM

I'm new here and I'm not sure how the protacol for this site will be in terms of how professional-minded reviewers will be.

Your song of praise had some nice lyrics, but the melodic line had some stumbles. You also had some serious pitch problems throughout. Singing acapella is hard to do for a seasoned singer. A guitar or piano friend could help keep you on pitch. this song is nice and has potential.
