Very nice piece David. The harpsichord intro followed by the heavy synth bass line is awesome. Your synth creations are truly amazing. The arrangement is nothing short of exciting and very picturesque.
This, in my opinion is great soundtrack music for a film of some futuristic calamity. The dynamics are great and after listening several times, this one is definitely best played LOUD!
The progression and changes fit beautifully together to for a wall of changing textures. The synth sounds a bit like Arsenal/Hybrid. Great stuff man.
I actually liked this a lot. I am usually drawn to music with lyrics that tell a story but this had me captivated. It is so artistically put together. well done & good luck in the comp..
I actually liked this. I am starting to listen to a bit of heavy metal as I want a diverse range of music understanding & this is really good.
The synth's are great. Yes, heavy indeed. The dynamics are excellent and this one is best played LOUD with the subs turned to 11. I like the progression a lot and your usage of synth's in this piece really stands out. I am always a big fan of the more resonant patches and the way that they are applied here is pleasingly extreme.
Fabulous sound David!! Fantastic I would even go so far as to say. I love the blend of heavy metal and classical strings which made for a very powerful and satisfying sound. I wish there was a category greater than a 6 (mega 12 at least!) My favourite so far definitely! I would have thought any film company looking for this genre of music would rip your arm off for this, I know I would! :):):):)
Oh my, a most mesmerizing song of lyrics and voice; so much truth and so very well executed, reminding me of "Phantom of the Opera." I must admit, though, I had to stop short of the end, finding the laughter too much. Thank you for posting.
Such a true account of this crazy world intent on destroying itself regardless of the cost to human loss, even the loss of our own souls. I identify with the well chosen lyrics, and the video clip is most relatable and palpable in its horror and pain this particular song laments. Bravo!
Well, my son is a metal head and i listened to a lot of his music; he's also a drummer in a band, although not metal. I thoroughly enjoyed the lyrics expressed in the musical way it was presented. So much truth in the text brought home very clearly and powerfully!
First rate video. I found this to be extremely evocative of the social and political struggles facing the world today, the dichotomy of man as a whole, us versus them; people versus government.
The visuals are assembled well and obviously make a very strong point.
Musically, I find this piece to support totally the visuals with a style that implies hope on one side and desperation on the other. The instrumentation is well selected to support the overall theme and the total package is nothing short of superb.
EXCELLENT !! In my opinion, some of your best work yet. :-)
Im not sure what your trying to say with this work, but it put together well.
Its quite hard hitting and left me with a hopelessness.
Yes war is bad.
