Annabell Dorley by Kerri Powles

hi Kerri
this is so sad. was it based on a true experience?

the melody is really nice and your voice does it justice, adding the sadness needed for the words.

ballads are so touching sometimes

The First Kiss by Kerri Powles

oh, Kerri, you are phenomenal. I just can't believe the beautiful things you do.

please get out there and don't let any stupid person ever tell you your stuff isn't good enough, because it is and you can make a living with it - just have to query the right people.

good luck with your endeavours.

Calypso by DERYL RATLIFF

yes, I can see how you came a long way with mixing and gained expertise.

the music is great but the performance is very tinny - like my old stuff (desiring the new sophisticated equipment)

sometimes it good to overlook the lack of technical expertise in favour of the "music" of our past. sometimes what we did in our past reflects what we don't have in us anymore - having become more sophisticated ourselves.

technology has advanced so fast in the last few years

Mountains Of Hope by Mike Parenti

i'm really loving this site. i'm a classical musician but have an appreciation of rock. I like the way you are speaking about some of my favorite subjects as a poet (i'm also a poet) and are putting it in a very professional way to rock music.

the mix works here

In Quiet Contemplation by Kerri Powles

wow, Kerri.

this suits the "thinker" so well. it reminds me so much of Chopin's etudes. Just as intriguing and wonderful in my opinion

you deserve 12 stars for this

A Child's Prayer by Kerri Powles

This is fantastic, Kerry. Are you playing the flute? Your music has a similar feel to what is going on in me.

I'm so glad to have connected to you too - been missing my musician friends who I left back in Vancouver.

Just want to add something. I checked out the Mooze.com site you suggested and think this would be an excellent one to put there.

Spend A Little Time by Buzzi

Hi Buzzi

This is well done, the lyrics are good and the vocals are balanced nicely against the background instruments.

I'm glad I joined this site - it will teach me how to put some of my poetry to music in the future

Tears on Earth, joy in Heaven by John David Coupland
Chapter 2 of the book Instrumentals

I'm a classical musician and I think you deserve a 6 for this - it is as good as a Debussy in my opinion

Song For Rachel by datka98

The lyrics are exquisite! This is put to music in a way that reminds me of Leonard Cohen - mystical, low pitched and entrancing

love the birdsong - very unique

By the sea by Freedom

I love it. I really felt free for a few minutes. Did you do it on a synthesizer? I have one and am looking forward to doing compositions like this
