Going My Way by Jun Naotsuka

Hi ...

Very nice. The consistency of the guitar on the left gave the song direction and an emphatic identity. That sax is pretty danged good, too!

Good luck in the contest!

Hi! I like the simplicity of this one. Very smooth guitar. And I really liked the way you used a phase effect at the beginning to do a call & response on the opposite pans. very nice! Good luck in the contest!

The lyric and arrangement are perfect for the stated contest rules. And the song is well performed. The only thing that kept me from giving it 6 stars is the amount of vocal reverb ... the peoples used quite a bit at times, but can't recall one with that much reverb on the vocals.

But, all that said, it's a really good song and I enjoyed my listen. Pretty cool ending! Good luck in the contest

Pure love by balajiram

Hi ...

This is a very good entry! It would make a great theme song for the ending of an action-thriller movie ... as the credits are running. It would also work very good at the beginning of a movie is there was just an action scene with no dialogue.

You picked a nice variety of tracks to keep it interesting throughout. That sounds like a bodhran drum track in there. Even if it isn't, it's very effective.

Nicely done! Good luck in the cotest!

This is a very nice emotional piece. It's relaxing, yet has a slight edge. I particularly enjoyed the acoustic guitar. And the layering is superb. Nicely done!

Hi ...

Great entry for the contest! This is the era I grew up in ... late 1940's and 1950's. This is a terrific interpretation of the contest rules. The deep reverb on the vocals was very prevalent then. Loved it! God luck in the contest!

I feel I need by bigedwood

Hi!

Totally loved this! I've played lead guitar and wrote songs for a living for many years (about 50). I love the characterization of the guitar tracks on this piece. The acoustic on the left channel is a perfect match for the b/g electric guitar on the right. And the fx (organ?) on the chorus was a great choice. And the instrumental break wasn't cluttered. A that mandolin was a real treat!

Your vocals were spot on, as was the lyric.I can imagine this on the radio very easily. I'm not a big fan of faded endings in most cases. But I think it works here. If it were perhaps two bars longer, it would be the perfect fade.

Super song and performance.Definitely worth all 6 stars!

Best to you. Keep up with the great music!
