Only Echoes Remain (With Vocals) 4 by threshold

Cheers, Threshold; I listen to it again and much more intently and intensely. I found the mixing of good words over the music very well accomplished. I finally got to the progression of the F sharp minor, and then the progressive reading of the drums. The words on the side.
I found it very interesting and though I would never call it a masterpiece. It is well done and very well composed.
I see sections of the use in car commercial. Really, and no joke. His soul universal in its melodic message used in many different applications.
Peace and harmony to you.

The River Columbia

Cheers contestant;
-I really enjoyed this very relaxing piece of music that was a pleasure and delightful to listen to. Your accompaniment and composition is defined and well organized within enjambment or conceptual theme that strongly is held through throughout the writing without any mixups. As it flowed smoothly throughout. Thank you for sharing and good luck in the contest.

It's Your Birthday

Hi, Jimi; a really another great song and an old genre that is universal but you have a good twist to it. I noticed a lot of your songs that use drums in the background and foreground are kind of weak. What I'm trying to say that there is a lack of depth in the percussion. I would suggest using a little bit of HALL & reverberated echo and slight increments to achieve that depth. I usually use the echoing reverb and compression especially on the drums. Also, I use the Alesis SR16 drum machine with the added compression, reverb, echo, and Hall mix in the recording. And seems to really make a life sound. Thanks for sharing and take care and have a good one my friend.

Seasonz

Hi, Jimi; I love this instrumental NSA listened to the whole song. I definitely felt the absence of the bass or a bass riff. I do hear someone of a bass and if you do use one, I can see it used sparingly. Love the song and fantastically done. Good movement and change of directions are interesting and fun. Thanks for sharing and take care and have a good one.

Silly Girl Fantasy by Jimi Seven

Cheers, Jimi; definitely the hook is the guitar work which is fantabulous. I couldn't find a really good strong hook in the words or the lyrics. I think that's only vocal projection on some of the words. Overall good EQ. I could see little bit more "ES" compression on the words to eliminate some of the SSSS sound. But there wasn't that much. Could see a good riff to get with the other riff that's already been established. As like a chorus to the hook. Very good and thanks for sharing.

I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day by carefie21

Cheers Carefire21;
-the money was good. However, because of the mixing. I couldn't understand the word list prominently as I would like. After a while the tomb became a little are somewhat boring but not entirely.
-Compression and little bit of reverb on the vocals would be helpful and a separate Mic input and output for each instrument and vocal.
-Chorus is a good setting to use on a guitar and especially piano.
-Good luck in your future endeavors and take care and have a good one.

Rusting by 12thvault

Cheers 12thVault;
-as it started listening to the music, I could definitely identify with this ongoing progression throughout the song which after a while became repetitive and somewhat but not entirely boring.
-To increase the depth of the drums you can use reverberation with the little bit of ethical and a hall setting. Compression works wonders.
-Good luck in your future endeavors and take care and have a good one.

I've Gotta Tell Ya by denniswhitt

Cheers, Dennis;
-your relaxing and pleasant romantic music and song is excellently composed.
-The voice is pleasant to listen to and fits well with the music.
-, The actual words in writing of your song and the poetic form did it possesses, Is actually very well written, poetically, and that's coming from a professional poet as myself who is been paid for my poetry.
-Suggestions would be to, and if you have one, Is to put more compression on your voice using one compression to increase the volume and intensity of your voice and the second impression is to D-S Your voice is to eliminate any essence and S type sounds.
-Maybe little bit more equalization and compression on the music with a little CHORUS setting on each instrument to give it more depth.
-Thanks to a very well and relaxing listen as I was completely pleased with your song.
-. Take care and have a good one especially with all those that you love dearly.

Rock'n Roll Star

Cheers,Anonymous;
-I like the song for about a third of the way through, and then it became a little monotonous. Don't get me wrong your recording was done very well in your arrangement of your tracks were also done in accordance with background singing, which was wonderful and the lead guitar was spot on.
I'm not saying I know more than anyone else put in hours writing songs in nineteen eighty-four I was sending hundreds of cassettes to hundreds of publisher and I would get a response about not how well the recording was how good the song is.
And as I previously wrote that the song was long and repetitive and I didn't really feel you established a really good hook or something I could go away with and remember because of a tune that stuck in my head.
But that's just me and what I heard was is very promising. So good luck in your endeavors,
take care and have a good one.
