High Up On The Mountain by michaelross

Great trad blues song. The break and instrumental are very effective and I think it deserves a six.

totally indian clasical by balajiram

A well enough put together tune with good backing. Possibly a key change mid song would be an idea but I do not know if that would be consistent with the genre. Best wishes.

They Walked..... by Wallace

A good piece of poetry and an imaginative use of the music. Perhaps the intro is a tad too long but it does invoke the weariness these folks must feel. All the best in the competition.

In A Summers Garden by Kerri Powles

Super piece, very relaxing and played with feeling. There is a great deal of emotion here, well done. Technically everything works well.

Places in The Heart by Danarg

Nice relaxing stuff. I liked the build up followed by the sudden tail off into the flute. May be the rippling chord effect is a tad over done but the sound quality is good and your arrangement well done.

The Cynic by johnkenwardguitar

Interesting piece of work. I would suggest cutting the intro to a maximum of 4 chord strokes but preferably only two. Toe tapping does not begin until the change in drum pattern. About one third of the way in the track gets interesting. The series of a single repeated loud note does not help so perhaps making it a full chord would work better. I liked the change to the quiet passages which could be extended. Generally a stronger bass is required and adding a distinct melody line would help.

Why Cant Love Be Easy by gart33

Good performance and a pleasant tune. A bit Gordon Lightfooty with the only thing that could do with some improvement is the diction as quite a few of the words are indistinct. Very enjoyable listen.

Sweet Melinda by akkrys123

Nice picking, a good song and well sung. While there is nothing wrong with the flute and glock, I do not think they are really adding anything to the recording. Rather reminiscent of Mr Lightfoot.
All the best

HollyWood by MAYDEN HOLLYWOOD

I liked the basic idea behind the song that everyone is an actor on some level. Posting the lyrics would have helped and is generally regarded as a courtesy on sites like this one. The vocals were good but like the rest of the piece not inspiring. If the song is meant to illustrate the rise of an unknown in Hollywood then a simple start, acoustic guitar and vocals would work better with a slow build to the climactic sound you have created towards the end.

Sweet Ashlea by Wayne Daniel Michael

A well constructed song with some nice guitar picking. You are going for that gentle breathy sound but be careful not to run out of steam. I felt that rather than the string sound coming in with the electric guitar that a bass sound would have worked better either as an alternative to the strings or, best of all, in addition to them.
If you are looking for, 'Sounds like,' when describing your music then Donovan and Jim Croche sprang to mind.
