Cheers, Threshold; I listen to it again and much more intently and intensely. I found the mixing of good words over the music very well accomplished. I finally got to the progression of the F sharp minor, and then the progressive reading of the drums. The words on the side.
I found it very interesting and though I would never call it a masterpiece. It is well done and very well composed.
I see sections of the use in car commercial. Really, and no joke. His soul universal in its melodic message used in many different applications.
Peace and harmony to you.
Alex

I've listened to this piece a few times now. I love the introduction. It inspires a feeling that some s&%t is about to happen. The best music, from my perspective should always paint a picture in your head even without lyrics. This is accomplished in your track.

Lyrically, it's difficult for me to comment. I found it difficulty understanding them, and since they aren't posted with the track I am at a loss. However, the sound is a bit annoying and in my opinion, detracts from the music which is very good. Maybe adjusting the EQ on the vocal(s) would help. Also, again in my opinion they should be a bit more up front in the mix. I'm not saying blast them, but just allow them to be heard clearly. They are a bit more understandable in the chorus than verse. Maybe a bit more separation in the mix of the instruments would open more vocal space, but the high end is definitely an issue.

I like way you used the percussion, especially the huge sounding bass drum. It actually sounds more like timpani a bit. I think the hi-hat could benefit from a bit more of a dynamic performance. The percussion is a bit loud in the mix while the vocals are happening.

The arrangement is interesting and maintained my attention and there are some interesting sounds in the mix.

The ending is likeable; a bit bizarre, and I like that.

Overall a very creative piece. Correct the mix issues and I thing you'll have a great track.

Having listened to the first rendition of this with no vocals and now this, my personal preference is this. The vocals certainly add another dimension for me, and lifts it even further. If anything I would have increased volume on the vocals, as hard to hear the words clearly enough, especially when the beat increases volume about a quarter of the way in, the vocals were completely drowned. As for Mastering, chord progression etc (for me anyway) you've pretty much got this nailed!!

im really glad to hear you liked my composition and mastering, i agree the vocals could be louder, and respect your opinion and humbled by it in way that makes me reflect deeper into the filtering and compression as well as harmonization being displayed by vocals, it could instantly clear the foundation for increased output abd punch the song, good point and will keep this mind, thank you for your honesty, and really appreciate your review

#1 Ranked Reviewer!

As in my previous review I feel the mastering was excellent. So I will not repeat my remarks here.
I liked the first nearly half of the song with the vocals.
But for me, once the vocals were more in the "whispering" mode, I strained to hear them. I thought it took the enjoyment of listening away. That is my personal opinion and I certainly would get other opinions.
Please post other songs!
