Excellent song that captures the innocence of that period ( I think). The beat and melody is contagious....good instrumental....I could see Patsy Cline singing this!
My only suggestion is that I would eliminate the second instrumental....it was good, but the songs of that period were usually pretty short and I would have ended it after a second chorus and eliminate that second instrumental.

Oh, and good job on the lyrics!

Very good, would love to hear more from you.

Well recorded, good musicianship, fun arrangement. Good groove for this contest. The faded ending was rather abrupt but the song had already made me upbeat by then, I almost snapped my fingers to the beat. Well done.

The intro sounded jazzy and I wanted to cruise the gulf coast. The vocals, lyrics, and the instruments were fine . But I find it fits a late 1970"s jazzy/blue style .ie Anne Murray,Maria Muldaur . To fit a 1950 style the mixing on the saxophone solo has too much echo. And the lyrics are a "little" much.Nibble your ear, Dont be Shy ,Cute and sexy too . This song would be perfect for a 1970 release.
If release "Come on over here" would at the least make the top 60 on USA billboard charts.

Very good song. The progression is excellent and the changes appropriately break the monotony. The vocal is superb and has a really good sound.

The musicianship is very good. All of the performances sound very professional. The sax solo is a very nice touch and adds a bit of character to the piece.

The recording quality is very good and the mix is pleasing.

However, this song definitely does not remind me of the 50's. Maybe mid to late 60's or even early 70's, but not 50's.

Nice song. A little bit dated, but that goes with the territory of being a 50's song! The vocals were nice. The sax was nice. The guitar was good at times, but fell out of key at times. Overall, good effort.
