The strings and brass work well together in this piece and the way that they become more intricate as the piece progresses is a nice touch. The melody is excellent and very relaxing. This piece would make for an excellent movie soundtrack. I love the final chords.

Very good work.

Didn't catch the category BUT- it is a great soundtrack theme..I can see the movie credits rolling OR for an ongoing TV show. Nice orchestral movement about midway...Little Wakeman there 3/4s of the way?..Nicely done.

Thank you very much. I agree that it works like a soundtrack. I'd love to have the chance to compose something like that, but chances to do t are rare.

I like the beat, shockingly for the first 30 sec I was expecting a song but after giving it time I instantly wrote one to it seeing how I tend to do that.

Very lovely indeed, with good choice of instrumentation. Unusual arrangement which I found very refreshing, a sort of cross over between classical and contemporary jazz. I liked the way you picked up the pace half way though which lifted it to another dimension altogether. A very unexpected and pleasurable listen. Thank you.

Thank you very much, Kerri. I'm still stuck with virtual instruments, of course, but I enjoyed working on the piece. I like crossover music as you may have noticed. You are a very generous reviewer. How's your project going?

    Your very welcome Wallace.
I'm still plodding away on my old Yamaha. Branching out a little more into vocals as well from time to time. Uploaded one last night in fact (sorry can't divulge title as it's in a contest) I also had another of my piano solos pieces chosen to feature on BBC Radio Wales a couple of weeks ago, which was a pretty amazing experience, and have been asked to write a piece for a play which is taking place in my local theatre in October which is also very exciting, especially as I found out that a Director from the BBC in London is coming up to see the play! so it's a pretty exciting time at the moment!

    Best wishes.....Kerri

Congratulations! You really seem to be getting into some great things. I'm going to see if I can identify your song.....
    Regards, Wallace

Nice tune, I was waiting for the vocals to come in. Just a suggestion on your project. If this is your final work- I would like to hear better quality on the musical instruments. As it now stands, I can picture this song as it is, as a game tune for some of the tunes in the gaming industry. Korg is known for great quality keyboards that capture the true sound of instruments- I bet if you re-do the instruments with this kind of quality found on the korg keyboard the level of your song would definitely reach a higher level of professionalism that it deserves. Great job and keep it going friend.

thank you - a very fair comment. Virtual instruments on Sibelius are a little limited. It would certainly sound a lot better with real ones or simply higher quality.
