Great ambience....liked the multitude of soft, elegant sounds.
This was a meditative piece that you constructed so well.
I liked the strings, too.

Great work as usual!

Thanks. It was based on a visit to the Alhambra palace in Spain. the Gardens of the Soul are a real garden with many little fountains which i tried to capture with the harp passages.

Great source of inspiration. After view pictures of the Gardens of the Soul, I can very much see how the music relates. The composition is excellent and the instrumentation choice is superb and the mix is very pleasing.

Outstanding piece.

The music was lovely and peaceful. I can hear a sound reminiscent of water dripping and flowing. The production sounds professional.

THIS WOULD FIT AS A NARRATION TO A FILM SHOWING NATURE AND THINGS COMMING TO LIFE. MUSIC KIND OF CHOPPY BUT OTHERWISE APPROPRIATE.RELAX THE MUSIC A LITTLE SO IT FLOWS SMOOTHLY WITH PICTURE YOUR PAINTING IN OUR MINDS

Thank you for your response. You have noticed the effect I was trying for. The 'choppiness' was supposed to help the water effect , but I might have overdone it a bit...

Thanks for your comment, it's good to know that the water effect I was trying for worked. The garden is attached to what was once an Islamic palace, so I tried to evoke that atmosphere too.

You have taken me on a beautiful, peaceful meander around a very beautiful place with this piece. I can feel the sun shining warm against my skin, hear the birds singing and yes, I can hear the trickle of the water from the various water features. I love the way it gradual builds as with each turn in the path you are met with more wondrous sites. I not only feel it, I visualize it with this piece. Very lovely my friend. Definitely worthy of a 6 in my eyes. Shame you didn't enter this into the 'Classical Contest', I feel it could do well.

With warmest wishes...Kerri

You are a treasured contact and a very generous critic! I arrived back from Spain on Monday with this song in my heart.

You are very welcome. It was worth going to Spain just for this piece.

    Best wishes...Kerri

I have never visited the Gardens of the Soul, but the inspiration from this lovely piece of music compels me to do so. Your song paints a musical picture of what the serene beauty of the Gardens must surely look like. And yes, I can hear the water!
