Great feel. This is a very smooth track. The guitar work is excellent and the sound of the solo is very reminiscent of Steely Dan. The sax really compliments the guitar well and the sharing of solo space is a very nice touch.

Great

Nice playing man. I wouln't have gone as far as to call this a Michael Jackson track because it sets up a certain expectation of vox and pop/motown vibe. I would say this is more smooth Jazz? Great musicianship though!

    Hi Again ...

It's just a track that i thought would have been a good one for him. It was written for a college drama class ... a piece for a movie they were doing. I started it before that, but when the Drama Department and I came to an agreement, not financial ... just on content, I tweaked it a little. That relatively quiet part after the intro was done that way as there was script being said and anything beyond a music bed would have interfered with the voices of the actors.

Glad you liked it anyway. Thanks for the feedback! Best to you ...

I loved the guitar, the horns, the tempo, the changes, the bass and just about every thing about this track...but the sound mix was not as good at opening and leading up to first guitar was too slow for me....but after that I could have happily listen to it for hours. Thank you.

    Hi Eddie!

Thanks for taking the time to listen and review ... much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed it for the most part.

As far as that first 45 seconds or so ,,, with the "doo ... doo ... doo's, that was written to spec for a movie soundtrack submission. They wanted it that way because there was going to be talking up until five seconds before the first guitar part. So, it had to be relatively quiet there. If I get time, I might go back and redo it with more music there. It's copyrighted as is, so I've left this way until I can redo it. Also, layered builds are popular with the music producers in many films.

Thanks again for the nice review. Best to ya!

well, I thought I replied to your review an hour or so ago. Nonetheless, the site says I haven't! So if this is duplicate, that's why.

I'm delighted you enjoyed it so much! And I cannot thank you enough for the 6 stars. I am humbled and very appreciative. Comments, such as yours, from fellow musicians mean almost ... almost ... as much as the royalty checks my wife likes to spend!

Thank you again. I am very appreciative of your words!

Hey Moe!

Just for you, I created an account so I read/hear your work.

I love the beat to this. Makes one want to dance. Fred Astaire and Ginger - look out. NOPE, on second thought, they wouldn't have anything to worry about - I dance like a duck!

Wait just a minute, I'll go get my spoons and start drumming them on my table. LOL... Yeah, right. If I try to sing or create music, the birds will want to head south NOW.

My only instrument was an accordion when I was about 8 yrs old. And then, my mom and dad held their ears - TIGHT~!

I envy you and Di, your musical talents. Great job, Moe.

Cheers & Blessings
Keep Smilin'.... Jax (?^?)

I guess you know thew definition of a true gentleman? he's a man who knows how to play the accordion ... but doesn't!

Actually, I'm a pretty good dancer. Don'r get much opportunity anymoreSpoons? there ya go! Abd if you do send the birds south, look at how much less bird poop you have tyo clean up!

Take care, my dear friend! Hugs,

    Hey Frankie,

I thought about writing a lyric for this. Guess I've been too lazy! But, maybe sometime in the future .....

Glad you enjoyed it. I appreciate you having listened to both songs. Best to ya,

Hey Dusty, I sent you reply a few minutes ago but the page still says I need to reply to you. So, if you go t the first reply, this will be repetitive, probably slightly different wording.

Thank you so much for the wonderful review! I'm delighted you enjoyed the song. BIAB is "Band In A Box". It's software to create musical tracks. The sax on the song was created in BIAB. If you're interested in checking them out, here's a link: www.pgmusic.com. The version I use is "The Everything Pack". It's pretty pricey ... almost $500.00!

So glad you enjoyed the song. Thanks very much for the time to listen and the very kind review! Best to ya!

No lyrics required. Soooooo smooth! The guitar and sax work are lyrical enough and near impeccable. A little call and response thing going on that works very well. Sounds like you lost your train of thought just a bit right at the end maybe?
