Very pretty music with the different sounds you introduce throughout. It's like a magical forest as we take a peek into the different aspects of nature, with scurrying about and water falling.

I can only imagine.

This is a very serene piece, I guess that's the reason for the title. You have a talent for relaying a concept in music. This is a very interesting piece and superbly orchestrated.

I appreciate the way that your usage of strings doesn't dominate the track but compliment the other musical aspects in a very succinct manner.

I draw inspiration from beautiful things in life, beautiful nature, I can now say I draw inspiration from your music! It is so skillfully composed, but not only that, it has an impact on the spiritual level, something that speaks to you! I love this kind of music, music with meaning! Thank you!I am unable to give you 6 stars again /according to the rules of the site/.

You are so kind! However, I must say the spirit of my music is what keeps me going. I often feel it channels itself through the skills I have and sometime gives me new skills just when I need them, hearing the next note, even in silence, or knowing that a part is missing and jumping out of bed to ad it,,,, The result, the completed song, filled with spiritual inspiration! Again, thank you, you wisdom of music production and structure are the true compliment to me, like an artist, knowing structure then deciding how to bend it is the true path of the musician,, composer.

Amazing Jon! You transport me to this wonderful place you describe. Right from the opening passage I felt myself being lifted spiritually, and I am flying over the Smoky Mountains. I can almost smell the Gr@ss you describe and feel the warmth of the day on my skin. I especially enjoyed the opening and closing passages.
This is not a criticism you understand (far be it for a humble housewife to criticism you!) but if anything the middle of the piece was a little 'busy'. I don't know if it was too many instruments or what, but something didn't quite gel for me there. Hope you don't mind me saying.
Your music lends itself so well to meditation. I frequently lose myself in your music. Thanking you once again for such a delightful piece............Best Wishes Kerri

Thanks for listening, I will have to go back and see what the busy part entailed,,,, often thee can be a mixing of the story line that is not in total sync for the piece. Making music that echoes a specific scent is not the easiest ting in the world.
Again I appreciate what you have felt, and where this piece is headed. thanks JOn

I have to admit it's not the easiest thing in the world to create music using the mediums that we do, especially of a classical nature. Very often we struggle to get the balance or mix of sound just right. More often than not it's the methods we are using rather than the composition itself that is at fault. It is very rare that I feel completely happy with my compositions, as something nearly always sounds wrong to me in some way. With an electronic keyboard I get very frustrated with the artificial reproduction of some of the instruments, and I wouldn't know where to begin to use computer software like yourself. With very best wishes....Kerri

This piece of music pictures me staying on the top of the mountain, looking down and then flying slowly, slowly down over beautiful land and river (or sea) and enjoying all this nature around. However second part seems to me as entering into water (river or sea). In the same time I think that in some places you over do it. For example tremolo of strings in the beginning was sound too intense for me but you may have some reason for this. It is a very impressive work Jon!

Thank you so much, since you area violinist, I take that critique to heart and will revisit the mix, it is very difficult to put a beautiful smell into musical perspective. Very spot on when you refer to water as the smell comes down the mountains in a flow that envelopes you,,,, I appreciate your listening, Thanks JOn

II am sorry, I am not trying to critic you in any way but I am just trying to analyze it and I am very impressed with your way to paint a free space!!!
